Early Morning Sandhill Cranes and Tour of NM Tech

I spent a quiet morning in Socorro, starting at the sandhill crane fields before sunrise, then grabbing a burrito at Sofia's Kitchen and wandering the campus of New Mexico Tech. There wasn't much of a plan—just enjoying the slower pace, the wildlife, good food, and the small-town atmosphere that makes Socorro an easy place to spend a day exploring.
