Tinkertown Museum

Tinkertown Museum is a charming stop on the east side of the Sandia Mountains. Built by folk artist Ross Ward over more than 40 years, the museum is packed with hand-carved miniature towns, circus scenes, old signs, western memorabilia, odd collections, and walls made from tens of thousands of glass bottles. Tinkertown feels like walking through one person’s imagination and it’s a great quick stop on the way to Sandia Crest or the Turquoise Trail.
