Nambe Falls

Located about 30 minutes north of Santa Fe, Nambé Falls is a scenic recreation area managed by the Nambé Pueblo. The site features a waterfall, reservoir, picnic areas, and views of the Sangre de Cristo foothills, making it a popular summer destination for both locals and visitors.
A short walking trail leads to the base of the falls, where water flows through a narrow rocky canyon before entering a reservoir below. While the waterfall is modest compared to say Jemez Falls, its accessibility and scenery make it a very family friendly spot.
The recreation area offers swimming, paddle boating, fishing, picnic shelters, and seasonal camping.
