Ethyl the Whale is an 82-foot, life-sized blue whale sculpture made from recycled plastic. Created by artists Joel Dean Stockdill and Yustina Salnikova, the sculpture serves as a reminder of the growing problem of plastic pollution in the oceans. It’s a fun stop and right next to Santa Fe Community College which is itself worth visiting for its architecture and public art.
